Athmar Park

This design celebrates the rich history and unique character of this vibrant west-side community. The name, thought to be derived from the wives of the original developers, Athea and Mary, is a nod to the area's deep historical roots. Established in the 1930s, Athmar Park was once home to celery farms and brick country homes, with land stretching along the banks of the South Platte River. The flag’s blue chevrons symbolize the river that has been integral to the neighborhood’s growth, while the green accents and icon pay tribute to its agricultural heritage. This design honors both the natural and cultural landscape that has shaped Athmar Park into the community it is today.
